ANDEAN COSMOLOGY          ECO-KINSHIP
INDIGENOUS SPECULATIVE STORYTELLING + FOLKLORE
ANCESTRAL CEREMONY + RITUAL  UNBORDERED BEING           INDIGENOUS FUTURISM AS LIBERATION + HEALING

TIERRA OF MY WORK

My work has been across multiple fields, but ones that are inherently overlaid in a transdisciplinary way. From my mental health and healing work to my academic and scholarship work to my Indigenous medicine and ceremonial work, along with my writing and storytelling work, they are all part of a singular beating heart of meaning-making.

In my indigenized approach and worldview, born out of the Andean mountains where my own heart beat for the first time, there is no such thing as separate fields of being. Everything is part of a whole, just as we are a part of a whole of beingness alongside our ayllu (relatives) of human and more-than-human kin. The lines that divide the chambers of our heart-life experience have been constructed to divide us -- within ourselves and between each other. These false border walls of our daily lives were constructed between the time of our ancestors and the time of our descendants.

Our descendants will unwrite the border walls that divide us and restore our collective world to wholeness. Our work, in the in-between, is to prepare the soil, nurture the early growth, and begin to vision an evolutionary ecosystem for the next Pachakuti (prophecy) season of the world.

I would love to be in conversation with you about how my speaking, teaching, space facilitation (workshops, retreats), and consulting support might align with/deepen the work you are doing in the world, whether in academic or philanthropic institutions, community-based organizations, or nonprofits, and whatever other spaces you might inhabit.

We are in a season that calls for bridge-building, for us all to be chaka runa (bridge beings) across our different spheres to reintegrate, re-imagine, and future-build together.
